Performance Paddling is the art and science of maximizing efficiency, especially in the forward stroke. Efficiency increases speed, adds endurance, and reduces fatigue compared to poor technique.
This three hour course is a culmination of Brian's 25+ years of professional and volunteer teaching and racing experience. Brian has trained with five Olympians from four countries.
The course also includes the latest drills and techniques developed by Oscar Chalupsky, 12 time World Open Ocean Champion.
The price is $50 payable on site. 3 person minimum, 10 max.

This American Canoe Association Certification Class builds upon foundational skills, increases knowledge and transitions the paddler from sheltered water to more exposed paddling environments.
Participants will learn and demonstrate the ability to paddle effectively, use sweeps, draws, rudder strokes, and linked maneuvers. Includes the use of edging, bracing and bracing turns. It also includes rescues and towing, leadership, and group management. Additional land based instruction includes trip planning, navigation, and Nautical Rules of the Road.
The price is $150, FIVE person maximum.
